The 2014 Alberta Winter Games organizing committee has just released their new logo!  What do you think?

I think it looks pretty good!  I also think we’re in for a heck of an event February 6 – 9, 2014.  With over 2600 young athletes expected to spend 4 days in the Banff and Canmore area competing in alpine skiing, archery, biathlon, figure-skating, hockey, and more, it will be a huge boon to our community from both an economic and prestige standpoint.  And from what I’ve seen so far, from the enthusiastic bidding committee to the ambitious ideas and planning that’s already gone into this event, I have no doubt that we’re going to be hosting an outstanding experience for both athletes and spectators!
