With 11 points (5G, 6A) in seven games, Mountain FM has named Canmore Eagles forward Adam Tisdale Player of the Month for December.

A hockey team can have the best top line in the league but they still won’t go very far without solid secondary scoring. Adam Tisdale has been a player the Eagles coaching staff has been able to count on to be a team leader in that category. He’s really come into his own in his second full season with the Eagles and continues to take advantage of his increased ice time this year.

I called Adam to congratulate him on being named December’s Player of the Month.

The Canmore Eagles are on Christmas break for the next couple of weeks.  They’ll be back in action at home for a pair of games over the New Year’s long weekend against division rivals the Camrose Kodiaks that could prove critical to both teams’ eventual playoff positions.  Puck drops 6 PM on January 1st and 2:30 PM on January 2nd at the Rec Centre.
