Amelie Patterson opening for Sarah Harmer at Banff Centre Sunday

Banff’s own Amelie Patterson will be opening up for Sarah Harmer this Sunday at 1 PM at Banff Centre’s Shaw Amphitheatre.

Amelie is one of my favourite guests.  She’s always so lovely and positive and shares great stories.  She’s also a ridiculously talented singer and songwriter!  We talked about her excitement opening up for someone she’s idolized as a songwriter, upcoming shows at the Canmore Folk Music Festival during the August long weekend and an August 16th full-band gig at Wild Bill’s, and the contract she renews with herself every year to make sure she still loves what she does.  She also performed two songs in studio – a brand new love song called That’s On You and one of my favourite songs from her Roll Honey Roll album, Don’t Ask.
