After over three months of rehearsing one of the most challenging and rewarding shows I’ve ever been a part of we’re thrilled to be opening the Pine Tree Players production of Noises Off at the Canmore Miners Union Hall this week! I’m co-directing this play-within-a-play backstage comedy with Ron Deans and we’re guaranteeing a lot of laughs as the audience watches relationships unravel on stage with sardine-dumping, axe-swinging results.

A real credit goes to the hard work by the incredibly talented group local actors who fill out the nine roles of the show.  I had a chance to chat with a few of them before Monday night’s dress rehearsal, shared in photos above.

Pay-What-You-Can preview night is tonight (November 15th), with the show officially running November 17th – 19th and November 23rd – 25th.  Doors at 7 PM, curtain at 7:30 PM for all shows except Sunday, November 19th which is a 2 PM matinee.  Tickets available for $20 at Cafe Books, The Cellar Door, and online here.
