Calgary Expo 2015

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo kicks off today and runs until Sunday! I’m excited to be attending once again this year and was also thrilled to be able to speak with Ian Ziering of Sharknado and Beverley Hills 90210 fame.

Ian is looking forward to attending the Expo this year and we talked about his career and the third Sharknado movie out this summer.  He also has many fond memories of spending time in the Banff area.

It was also great to chat with Emily Expo – she gave a rundown of what to expect this weekend.

Bow Valley locals!  If you’re attending the Expo this weekend make sure to stop by the booths of two Canmore-based businesses on the show floor.  Renegade Arts Entertainment will be hosting a rare public appearance by comic book artist John Bolton along with Lovern Kindzierski and Jeff Martin.  And check out the works of talented artist Patrick LaMontagne – Cartoon Ink, also known locally as the Rocky Mountain Outlook’s editorial cartoonist.
