Peaks Landing

The Peaks Landing development proposal is back before council, and just like the first time it’s drawing mixed reaction from the community.

This new proposal has more affordable housing and emphasizes secondary suites as a means to address more of a ‘community need’ than the first one, but some residents like Tom Boone think council should shut this one down too.  He spoke with me about flood risk, the 1998 Settlement Agreement, and why they decided to discontinue a recent lawsuit against the approval process.

The proposal is scheduled to go in front of council for second reading early 2016.
