Jump Jam Postcard Front

Back for its second year, the Canmore Jump Jam promises to be a showcase of both expert tricks and some of the youngest riders on two wheels at the Cemetery Bike Park on Saturday.

Gavin Conner says they’re expecting a good turnout if last year’s event is any indication, especially in the pre-school push-bike category.  I also spoke with 13-year-old Liam Baylis who will be showing off his skills on the expert line.

This event will also be a fundraiser for a planned Canadian Rockies Mountain Bike Fest in 2017. To sign up stop by Outside Ski & Bike until the end of the day Friday or head over to the Cemetery Bike Park beside Benchlands Trail at 2:45 Saturday. The event runs from 3:00 to about 7:30 PM.
