Summer is the perfect time of the year for road trips and exploring! If you are thinking of bringing your pup along with some adventures here are some traveling tips! Keep your pet safe while driving, a dog seatbelt or secure crate will keep your dog both comfortable and contained. Take lots of pit stops! Car rides can be both exhausting and stressful for dogs, stopping for a quick walk and water break can give you and your dog some needed time to relax! If you are either camping or staying in a 5 star hotel try to give your dog lots of exercise and attention as being in a new place with new people could put stress on your dog causing them to react fearfully. Never leave your animal alone in a parked vehicle. On a hot day, even with the windows open, a parked automobile can become a furnace in no time. If you decide to bring your pup on your travels try to include lots of pet friendly activities so both you and your pup can have an amazing, fun vacation!
