Metal fans are in for a great local show Tuesday, May 2nd at the Hoodoo Lounge during the Banff stop of the Vengance in Hell Tour. Four great acts are on the bill – West of Hell and Revenger from Vancouver, Illyrian from Calgary, and the Bow Valley’s own Human Stain.

Darren May is the Banff-based drummer for Illyrian.  We chatted about their new album Round 2: Fight, the metal scene in the Bow Valley, and the challenge of playing this style of music.

The show gets underway at the Hoodoo at 8:30 PM Tuesday.  Tickets are $10.
