Canmore Mayor John Borrowman delivered a substance-laden State of the Union address during his annual appearance at the Bow Valley Builders and Developers Association luncheon last week. It’s a presentation he’ll deliver to many other local groups over the next few months and the highlights of which are now available online.

Although there was too much ground to cover everything, Tanya and I wanted to delve deeper into a few of the subjects he raised as 2018 projects when he stopped by the studio this morning.

We discussed a potential review of Canmore’s photo radar program:

 

He also brought up the subject of an Employee Housing Bylaw in his speech and we talked about that idea:

 

We also had a discussion about potentially introducing widely available broadband internet to the community as well as the latest on the organics composting subject:
