Tanya and I always find the Job Resource Centre‘s Labour Market Reviews a great indication of the costs and challenges associated with living in one of the most expensive places in Alberta.  We break down some of the highlights including average local minimum wage, the wide gap between Canmore and Banff staff accommodation availability, the increase in rental rates since the last survey, and why the living wage for a single person in Canmore has actually decreased.
