RCMP Canmore Investigate Multiple vehicle thefts and property related offences – Update #1

Canmore, Alberta – Canmore RCMP have laid multiple charges against two men in connection with several vehicles thefts and property damage that occurred in Dead Man’s Flats, Harvie Heights and Canmore during the overnight hours of May 3, 2018.

Alexander KULACH, 22 years old of no fixed address, has been charged with:

  • 4 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (believed to be Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, Codeine and Trazadone);
  • Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;
  • Possession of Break in instruments;
  • 5 counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000;
  • 5 counts Breach of Probation.

KULACH remains in custody and is set to appear in Didsbury Provincial Court on May 7, 2018.

Maxwell TUCK, 24 years old of Calgary, Alberta has been charged with:

  • 2 counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000;
  • 14 counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000;
  • Possession of Break in instruments;
  • Drive while Disqualified;
  • Mischief under $5,000.
TUCK remains in custody and is set to appear in Calgary Provincial Court on May 11, 2018.

RCMP Canmore Investigate Multiple vehicle thefts and property related offences

Canmore, Alberta – On May 3rd, 2018 in the early morning hours, Canmore RCMP received several calls of vehicle thefts and property damage to vehicles.  2 adult males were apprehended as a result of an ongoing investigation.  These arrests were thanks in large part to calls from the public.  To date, 2 of 3 stolen vehicles have been recovered along with wallets, identification, keys and break in instruments.  The investigation is still evolving and charges are pending.
