artsPlace is getting ready to showcase another great local talent in their gallery beginning this weekend! The above photo is Lesley Russell’s work-in-progress as she gets ready to present Community Gathering, a continuation of last year’s Spirit of the Community public art piece.

I spoke with Lesley about how the stories and the people in our town inspired this project and the interactive nature of the exhibit.
