The Shoe Project is back for 2019 to feature another group of 10 women from all over the world sharing stories of the journeys that brought them to the Bow Valley.  Conceived by local novelist Katherine Govier, the stories are told through a pair of each women’s shoes in an art display and two sold-out performances at artsPlace this weekend.

Claudia and Mila are two of this year’s Shoe Project participants.  I welcomed them on air to share a bit of their histories, details on this weekend’s shows, and how the project has brought them together in friendship.

The Shoe Project performances are sold out but you can check out the display in the gallery at artsPlace for free during regular operating hours until the end of the day Monday.
