Remember our last smokey summer and the air quality index readings that were coming out of Calgary that also helped us in the Bow Valley know the risks of what we were breathing?  That monitoring came courtesy of the Calgary Region Airshed Zone (CRAZ), an organization that also works closely with all of our local municipalities and large industrial businesses.

With wildfire season already underway in neighbouring British Columbia, CRAZ Executive Director Jill Bloor joined me on the show today to talk about what they do, their plans to have a mobile monitoring station set up somewhere in the Bow Valley later this year, and tips on staying healthy when the air quality turns poor.

Find out more and check the latest air quality readings by visiting the CRAZ website.
