Canmore Mayor John Borrowman was once again my special guest on this week’s Mountain Insider.  We discussed:

-Organics collection beginning September 3rd, why the popularity of the household waste bins means they’ll need to buy more of them, and how Mayor Borrowman has been storing his food waste ahead of next week’s launch.

-The revised wildlife attractant bylaw requiring people to pick fruit and berries from trees and bushes on their property, a municipal incentive to assist fruit tree removal, and how the Town plans on dealing with those attractants on their own property.

-Want to have your say into Canmore’s initiatives and plans?  Applications are now open for Town Boards & Committees!

-The new bow hunting prohibition on Larch Island.
