Our local culinary team from the Pursuit Banff Jasper Collection wanted to help support a few self-isolating staff members with affordable, nutritious meals.  The idea went so well that they’ve now decided to roll it out to the entire Banff community, launching their ‘boil-in-a-bag’ Easy Eats by Pursuit program this Friday.  They’ve worked with one of their main suppliers to provide the food at cost, allowing them to serve options like 24-hour Braised Beef Brisket for only $5.50/person and Teriyaki Salmon for just $6/person on this week’s menu.

I spoke with Executive Chef Scott Hergott about why they’re doing this and how it’s being rolled out.

Meal collection will take place Fridays between 11 AM and 4 PM at the Elk + Avenue Hotel in Banff.  Supplies are limited and meals are first come, first served  Click here for more details.  Donations to support Banff Food Rescue will be accepted.
