100 Holes of Help

Back for its second year, 100 Holes of Help is an initiative to support the YWCA of Banff’s Bow Valley Women’s Emergency Shelter through marathon rounds of golf.

In its first year the foursome of Terry O’Neill, Rob Wagemaker, Jamie Perkins and Richard McGivern golfed 144 holes in a single day at Stewart Creek, raising over $25,000 in pledges.  Terry spoke with me about how the event’s origins and how they recruited additional teams at other local courses to raise even more money this year.

Terry’s foursome will be hitting the links of Stewart Creek this Sunday.  Click here to pledge them or one of the other teams from the Canmore Golf & Curling Club, Silvertip, and the Fairmont Banff Springs.
